Just had all 4 wisdom teeth removed after putting it off for a year due to fear of anesthesia. I had some discomfort lately and called in this morning to see when an appointment would be available. To my surprise, the surgeon was in today and was able to squeeze me in for an afternoon appointment. They provided 15-20 minutes of leeway time since I’d need to drive 2 hours to reach the office. When I arrived, checking in and payment was extremely easy. They saw me a couple minutes once the forms and payment were completed. I also was able to schedule a follow up appointment to make sure any complications during healing were addressed. The surgery room was a bit cold which is entirely understandable, I’m super skinny so I have trouble holding heat and was shivering for a little while. They provided a fresh clean blanket to combat this, introduced me to the team, and went through the x-rays as well as the plan. I have pretty bad anxiety but they were able to knock me out immediately (via twilight sedation), and before I knew it the procedure was over and I was being rolled out to my car with care instructions. They prescribed pain medication of two kinds, ibuprofen alongside something stronger, in case the ibuprofen doesn’t work. I also got an anti-bacterial medication to ward off infection during the healing process, extra gauze for clotting, and a gentle mouth wash to help keep things clean. After insurance—to get all 4 removed—it was just over $800, for the level of care, expertise, and professionalism the procedure was worth every penny. Huge thanks to the surgical team, front desk staff, and the surgeon for taking care of me. * The surgeon was also able to give me pointers as to what was causing my lingering jaw pain prior to the operation. He suggested discussing a mouth guard in the future, and proposed that the ache could be caused by TMJ. Thanks to him I will be pursuing resolution, and reaching out to my dentist & PCP to see what can be done. I’ll leave another review in a little while regarding fillings, crowns, my gum disease journey, and root canals soon. I had really bad dental health prior to finding this clinic a couple years back and things have been WAY better since. 🩵

The Cerritos dental office does an excellent job in taking care of my preventative dental care . The office staff,doctors and hygienists are prompt, attentive and thorough.
